This Privacy Policy describes how AdmitRite (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use MajorMaestro at www.admitrite.com (the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Email address — when you unlock your major-match results or join the Premium waitlist.
- Expected high school graduation year — during the About you survey section, before academic questions.
- Survey responses — activities, academic information, and personality survey answers.
- Optional contact information — email or phone number if you choose to provide it for follow-up.
- Session and usage data — pages viewed, session identifiers, timestamps, and similar technical data needed to operate the Service.
- Future account data — if we add registration, we may collect account credentials and profile information described at sign-up.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver your major-match results and operate the Service;
- Improve MajorMaestro, including analyzing survey data;
- Send you email marketing about MajorMaestro, related educational products, and partner offerings;
- Contact you for product research or follow-up if you provide contact information;
- Comply with law and protect the security and integrity of the Service.
How we share and sell information
We may share or sell personal information—including your email address and survey-related data—to third parties such as marketing partners, analytics providers, and other business partners. We may also share information with service providers who process data on our behalf.
Service providers are authorized to use information only as needed to perform services for us, subject to contractual obligations.
Email communications
If you provide an email address, we may send marketing messages. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us at privacy@admitrite.com.
Children and students
MajorMaestro is intended for middle school and high school students (typically grades 7–12) who are exploring possible college majors. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent as required by applicable law, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are under 13, do not use the Service or submit personal information.
If you are 13 or older but under 18, you should use the Service only with permission from a parent, guardian, or school counselor. A parent or guardian may contact us to review, delete, or refuse further collection of a minor’s personal information.
If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, contact us at privacy@admitrite.com.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Your choices and rights
